We reached the 35000 users today. We'll try to put up some stats about usage in near future. stay tuned and please continue to input sightings since our data input is still quite low (about 100 a day).

We also like to ask you to use the rate function in the app market, whilst having 35000+ users we are stuck with 68 rating, ratings are important so we are found easily in the market. The more users, the more support we get so build in new functions.

We updated the app to version 13. It's just a bugfix release, mainly fixing the "add to current list" and "offline data" bug. It features the possibility to choose an arbitrary position using google maps, directly from the "get new list" window.

Auf der Webseite (unter "Sichtungen") gibt es jetzt die Moeglichkeit, weltweit nach Sichtungen zu suchen:

Es koennen verschiedene Parameter kombiniert werden:

• Ort (Radius einstellbar)
• Name der Spezies
• Wissenschaftlicher Name der Spezies
• Zeitspannen (Jahre und/oder Monate)

Insgesamt stehen dafuer momentan 700.000 eingetragene Sichtungen zur verfuegung. 

Mit dem Update gibt es zudem ein paar Bugfixes (IE7 und IE8: Feature, Sichtungen per Webseite einzutragen)
